Warner Bros. Discovery has acquired Turkish Drama sensation “Golden Boy” for HBO Max in Latin America. The series will premiere on the platform under the local title “El Chico de Oro” (Spanish) and “O Canto do Pássaro” (Portuguese) during 2024.

Both drama series, "Legacy" and "Redemption" are produced for Turkey’s Kanal 7.

Turkish drama series “Golden Boy” has now been licensed to more than 100 countries, following the latest raft of deals completed by international distributor Eccho Rights.

This show is the latest drama from Sürec Film, one of Turkey’s foremost production houses, credited with other successful titles, such as "Wounded Heart," "Three Sisters," "Cherry Season" and "Hear Me." 

Herbert L. Kloiber, Chairman of the Eccho Rights Board and CEO of Eccho’s mother company Night Train Media, assuming the role on an interim basis as the overall integration of the group continues.
